Skyline Farm is in Rosevale in the Scenic Rim.
30 minutes from Ipswich, 1 hour from Brisbane, 1.5 hours from the Gold Coast and 2.5 hours from the Sunshine Coast.
Currently, we only allow weddings/events at the Farmhouse.
The Barn has been designed for more relaxed intimate stays and is not suited to holding events.
Once built, the plan is to also host weddings and events at the Quarters – a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom property featuring custom-designed outdoor spaces, which will be perfect for entertaining
The Farmhouse can accommodate up to 100 guests in total, including the 16 guests it can sleep on site.
For events of 22 people or fewer, there is no extra charge – unless additional guests are staying overnight at the Farmhouse. Please see the ‘Farmhouse FAQs’ for further details.
For events with 23 to 100 guests, additional fees do apply. Refer to our ‘Weddings/Events Pricing & Inclusions Brochure’ for full details.
Failure to disclose that you will be holding an event during your stay may result in your entire bond being forfeited.
Our wedding/event packages include:
- Exclusive venue hire with access for 4 days (check in at 3pm, check out at 10am)
- Three nights’ accommodation for up to 16 guests across 7 bedrooms (6 bedrooms with king beds and kids’ room with two sets of single bunks)
- Complimentary use of our hire items
- Option for additional guests to camp in our designated camping area – camper trailers and caravans are also welcome
- Rubbish removal, cleaning and linen laundering.
As part of our wedding/event packages, guests have complimentary use of our hire items (should you wish to use them).
The hire items we have on site are:
- 100x black americana fold out chairs
- 10x timber trestle tables (comfortably seats 6 in a row or 8 standalone)
- 10x 3m wide umbrellas with water fill bases
- 6x black high bar tables
- An antique timber bar
- A white signing table
- Festoon lights, stands and extension leads
- A cold room (suitable for beverages and wedding flowers).
Yes! We offer several beautiful spaces throughout the property that can be used for both your ceremony and reception. As a DIY venue, you're free to select the areas that suit your style and vision best.
Currently, there are no noise curfew restrictions in place at Skyline Farm.
Yes, the Farmhouse offers plenty of onsite parking for guests.
Skyline Farm is a DIY wedding venue, giving you the freedom to choose your own vendors to match your style and budget.

Yes, we offer viewings of the Farmhouse (and Barn, if you’re interested) every 1-2 weeks.
Viewing days and times vary each week based on our booking calendar, and weekends are often unavailable due to existing reservations. However, (every few months) we can facilitate a Sunday afternoon viewing if we have guests checking out earlier that day.

While there is not a dedicated wet weather space onsite, guests can hire a marquee as a backup option. This can be set up on the grassed area alongside the pool.
Absolutely! We fully support you including your furry family members in your wedding ceremony – after all, they are part of your family too!
However, if you’d like to bring your dogs to the Farmhouse, a $200 additional cleaning fee applies. Please note that dogs must be properly restrained and are not allowed to roam freely around the property. They are also not permitted on couches or beds.
In addition to the Farmhouse, we offer the Barn – a luxurious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property just a few minutes’ drive away. We are also currently building a new 5 bedroom property, the Quarters, which will hopefully be available for bookings in early 2027.
There are also a couple of short-stay options available via Airbnb and Expedia that are within 20 minutes of our venue.
Alternatively, guests can stay in Ipswich, Kalbar or surrounding areas and arrange mini coach transport (20-24 seater) to and from the Farmhouse.
Yes, a $3,500 security bond is payable 1 month prior to check-in day. This will be released within 14 days of your check-out day, subject to our Terms and Conditions.
