Unfortunately, Skyline Farm is a private property and a working cattle farm, so it is not open to the public for day visits. 

If you’d like to experience the farm, we’d love to welcome you – simply make an accommodation booking to enjoy all that Skyline Farm has to offer. 
 

Yes, all Farmhouse accommodation bookings require a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Check-in is from 3pm. Check-out is by 10am

We may be able to accommodate an earlier check-in or later check-out on request, depending on other bookings.

Please note that we cannot confirm this until 1-2 weeks before your stay, as it depends on our cleaning schedule and other guest bookings.

If you’re hoping for an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to plan around it. 

No, you don’t need a 4WD to access Skyline Farm. 

Some of the roads beyond Warrill View are graded gravel roads, but they are safe and suitable for all vehicles, including sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs and smaller buses. 

Just be prepared – your car will leave a little dustier (or muddier) than it arrived!

Skyline’s Farmhouse can comfortably sleep 16 adults or children and 1 baby with existing bedding.

Additional babies, toddlers or children aged 5 or under can stay free of charge if sleeping in parent-supplied beds (such as travel cots or camp mattresses). 
Extra adults or children aged 6 and over can also be accommodated for $50 per person, per night, with two options:

• Option 1 – Bring your own bed (e.g. camp mattress), linen / sleeping bag, pillow and towels
• Option 2 – Hire a Skyline supplied fold-out bed with linen, a pillow and two towels for $150 per bed, per stay, which is in addition to the extra guest fee.

Note: A maximum of 5 fold-out beds are available. 

The maximum number of guests permitted to stay at the Farmhouse at any one time is 22.
 

There is 1 timber cot available at the Farmhouse.

All bedrooms in the Farmhouse are generously sized and can comfortably accommodate a travel/portable cot or single camp mattress for babies, toddlers, or young children.

Yes, we love welcoming children to Skyline’s Farmhouse! Many families return again and again because both parents and children enjoy it so much. 

Inside, you’ll find a dedicated kids’ bedroom with two sets of single bunks, a separate playroom filled with books, board games, and toys, plus two lounge rooms equipped with smart TVs.

Outdoors, there's a pool and spa (not heated), expansive wraparound verandas ideal for riding bikes and scooters, and manicured lawns, which are perfect for running around or kicking the footy.

With adult supervision, children are also welcome to feed the chickens, alpacas and camels, adding to the farm experience. 

Yes, you may bring up to 2 dogs to the Farmhouse, subject to the following conditions:

• A $200 cleaning fee will be added to your booking (must be paid for prior to your stay).
• Dogs must not roam freely around the property or farm due to the presence of farm animals near the house. Dogs must be kept within your line of sight, tied up or placed in a crate. 
• Dogs are not allowed on couches or beds. 

Please note:

Bringing dogs without prior permission or without paying the cleaning fee will result in a $500 deduction from your security bond.

Any damage caused by dogs during your stay will also be deducted from the security bond.

Yes, we welcome events at the Farmhouse, including birthday parties, engagement parties, commitment ceremonies, hens/bucks parties, and weddings.

• For events will 22 people or fewer, no additional surcharge applies beyond any extra fees for additional guests or fold-out beds, where relevant. 
• For events with 23 to 100 people, please refer to the ‘Weddings & Events’ section of our website for details and pricing.

Yes, a $2,500 security bond is payable 1 month prior to your check-in date. 

The bond will be released within 14 days of your check-out day (approximately), subject to our Terms and Conditions. 

Please note: For events, a $3,500 security bond applies.

The Farmhouse is equipped with:

• 2 fridge/freezer combos
• 1 chest freezer
• 2 wine fridges.

Where a wedding or event package has been booked, guests will also have access to a cold room for beverage/wedding flower storage. 

Please note: The cold room is not available or turned on for standard bookings.
 

We provide a generous range of essentials and comforts to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible, including:

Bedding & Linen

• Ben linen for 6 king sized beds, 4 single beds (2 sets of bunks) and 1 cot
• 16 bath towels, 16 pool towels, bath/shower mats, hand/face towels and tea towels.

Toiletries & Cleaning Supplies

• Hotel / motel sized hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom
• Hand soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing detergent, spray & wipe, carpet cleaner, fly spray, cloths and sponges.

Pantry Staples & Kitchen Basics

• A coffee machine with one bag of coffee beans
• Cling wrap & alfoil, olive oil, tea/coffee/raw sugar, salt & pepper, tomato & BBQ sauce
• Tissues, toilet paper and paper towel.

Welcome Gift

• A curated welcome box with Skyline Farm eggs, fresh herbs, and 3 locally made products, which vary each booking (e.g. may include, honey, rosella jam, relish, chutney or pickles).

Firewood

• One night’s supply.

Kitchenware & Appliances

• Plates, bowls, mugs, glasses (including wine glasses) and cutlery for at least 20 people
• Kids themed plates, bowls, cups and cutlery
• Fry pans, saucepans, serving platters and bowls
• Scissors, peelers, tongs and stirring spoons
• 900mm electric oven with gas cooktop, microwave, toasted sandwich maker and slow cooker.

Note: there is no spare linen, blankets or towels stored onsite. If you require extras, please bring them with you. 
 

Yes – the Farmhouse is fully equipped with the following:

• Washing machine – located in the laundry (laundry detergent provided)
• Dryer – located in the garage
• Clothesline – located in the herb garden behind the timber pergola
• Dishwasher – located in the butler’s pantry (dishwasher tablets provided)
• 900mm electric oven and gas cooktop – located in kitchen
• Full size BBQ – located under patio and connected to LPG bottles
• Stick vacuum – located in the garage
• Dustpan & brush – located under kitchen sink
• Iron & ironing board - located in the laundry.

Kalbar (25-minute drive from Skyline Farm) – has a Spar Express supermarket, butcher, fruit and vegetable shop and bottle shop. 

Yamanto (35-minute drive from Skyline Farm) – a larger shopping precinct with Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, a butcher, 2 fruit and vegetable shops, a bottle stop and range of speciality stores. 

The closest coffee shops / cafes are:

No, the pool and attached spa at the Farmhouse are not heated.

Yes, there is generally reliable mobile phone reception at Skyline Farm. 

We also provide Wi-Fi, with log-in details emailed to you prior to check-in.

No, the Farmhouse is not air-conditioned. 

However, it stays comfortable with a few natural cooling features, including:

• Ceiling fans in bedrooms
• Flyscreens on most windows and doors, allowing them to be left open for airflow
• Polished concrete floors in common areas that helps to keep the interior cool
• Located on the top of a hill so there is usually a lovely breeze throughout the day and evening.

Animal sightings can vary depending on paddock rotations, but guests at the Farmhouse will usually see:

• Cattle
• Chickens
• Sheep (and often lambs in winter)
• 2 Camels (named Mick & Carl)
• 2 Alpacas (named Trilogy & Napoleon). 

Guests may feed the chickens, camels and alpacas" during their stay, but must do so from outside the paddock fencing. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when feeding animals at the Farm
